Naturally, we wondered why all the Moai on Easter Island face inland instead of the ocean. The story told; the society who built the Moai believed that they were the only people in the whole world. Any invaders or bad people that would be coming would have to come from within the island – not by sea! So the Moai face inwards to protect the community.
There are 887 known Moai Monolithic Statues on the island.

The Heads Have Bodies Too!
Within the giant statues of Rapa Nui, a team of archaeologists at UCLA developed the Easter Island Project to study better and preserve the artifacts. Through this work the team excavated several of the heads to reveal the underlying torso and body, suggesting the inhabitants of this mysterious place were more superior than we had once thought.
This is a classic example of “there is more to it than meets the eye.” The bodies that extend deep underground and the bodies are in fact marked with detailed tattoos.
My thoughts and conspiracies
First of all, I’m a fictional thriller author and I like to dabble in ancient conspiracies, so take this with a grain of salt.
Did you know that many ancient sites like the Pyramids of Giza are all aligned on a single sweeping circle around our planet? Coincidence… hmmm. The footprints of an advanced alien civilization, maybe?
In The Beginning
As the story told and passed on by an ancient society. The Moai statues face inland and not out to sea because there was no threat from the outside world. What if, this is where life began for our kind … The beginning of Homo Sapiens. This tiny stretch of land we now know as Easter Island.
Can it be plausible, if there was a Biblical Adam and Eve, that they came from here and spread out to the known world?
